#1

Hi all,

I'm port forwarded my server with uTorrent my port of my server is 7777
and in uTorrent it's 7777 too

but when I add my Ip address that's I get from whatsmyip.org in the favoruite list my server isn't working.
not the server the ip address

and when trying 127.0.0.1 and 192.168.1.xxx it working
but why the ip of whatsmyip.org isn't working

I'm using WLAN and If you tell me to port forward my server by the router I can't

the reason is: my Defualt gateway's username and password is changed and I don't know them

so can I fix this problem?

please help me,

thanks.

If I understand correctly, you can't launch your server with a closed port. Try to use VPN, if you only want to test your server, but if you want to open your server for all on your computer, you can't do it.

1. If you have an restart button of the back on your router hold it for 10 seconds.
2. Try to log in again with 192.168.1.xxx
3. Your Username and Password must be "admin"
4. If you know how to open your ports you are done!
"NOTE": Dont restart your router. If you want to check your IP adress, check www.whatismyip.com

You need to access your routers config page, theres no other way. You could for example connect to it with a cable if its not working with wlan.

I had the same problem when I used to host from my PC. As long as you can connect via localhost and everyone else with your given IPAddress it's not am.issue.

There is another way, "FIREWALL", I just port forwarded using firewall.

I'll give you steps I took.

-Enabling Firewall.
-Adding new rule in "Inbound rules"
-Rule = Port.
-Port = 7777 or anyother you want.
-Allow Connection.
-TCP and UDP (do then both (was un-confirmed with one))
