I will be saving up for the HD 7770 to go alongside this PC, which I know then it will play DayZ... but will this setup?

I think they're the only two components that actually make a difference for gaming :P (apart from gfx card ofcourse)

Would this be able to play DayZ?

That processor would handle it but 4gb its good enough 8 is for other thing eg: video editing you need more memory to store the preview of what your editing but let's not go that way.

So other things will yes be the GPU very import as well.
Also is good to have the computer well cooled so the components performe at their best.

The mother board is Inportant in other ways but right now if everything fits, performing well then there will be no urgen need for upgrading it.

HDD: would not say to upgrade even if its speeds are slow at weighting/reading as they can be that bad.

PSU: well just make sure your new GPU will have the right power needed.
