I am trying to run my server to test my game-mode, but when I open SA-MP and add localhost to the list it only shows retrieving info... anybody drop some knowledge? This has never happened to me before?

EDIT: Awww shit, haven't been around SA-MP for a year and I forgot to check the port number

Moral of the story: Check you're connecting to the right port.

No I'd forgotten I set my port number in server.cfg to 1337 and when I entered localhost into the client it automatically set the port as 7777 and I missed it.

Then set your port in server.cfg as 7777.
