Introduction: This is a tutorial on how to portforward on a linksys router.
What do you need?
*A static IP address
Tutorial:-
In order to portforward you must make sure that you have a static IP not dynamic. Now lets get started.
1- Go to Start menu>CMD>ipconfig. Once you type "ipconfig" you will get a screen like this:-
2- Now open a new tab in internet and type the default gateway in the addressbar.
3- It will ask you for the password. most of them are Admin and password also admin.
4- If you dont know your password contact your ISP.
5- After you log in go to "Applications and gaming" and make a note of your IP address. now go to Single port forwarding or port range forwarding and do what is done below:-
make sure the last 2 or 3 numbers should be your IP address.
Hope this helped. if you want other players to play in your server go to server.cfg>Announce 0 make it to 1.
and now go to whatismyip.com and add it with the port 7777 and enjoy +rep if this worked!
