Is there a basic deathmatch with weapons, items and cars on the ground? They don't have to match the locations in the single-player game. Players can kill each other once they join.

My thread got no replies. Is this because SA-MP is never used in a LAN context? The game modes seem designed for public servers with many other players. Roleplay modes are so popular; they add RPG capabilities to SA?

Try default scripts that come with the server? Btw, it's not hard to make such a basic GM.

Thanks all. I guess I will just have to download and experiment with every deathmatch GM.

I'm beginning to understand that the SA world is just too big for 4 players. It makes sense that it favors servers with many players and roleplaying aspects.

We might have a better time with co-op in a game like Saints Row 3.

You can download simple gang wars edits, or even use LandGrub or LVDM coming with the SA:MP server package; download the server, install it and play.
