Open wiki registrations
#1

I think the wiki registrations should open for like a day or two without being announced (so noobs wouldn't know).
It's quite "terrifying" thinking someone could go rage and screw the wiki up if they have an account...
Just like it happened with some forums of liberty (something)
Yea, but I think you should open it, so some people who have some knowledge on PAWN language could help out and/or fix some pages

Actually, this is a good idea.
The wiki has much errors, they should allow some of us to register.
I support your idea.

So you could come back in a week whining about how you missed the registration period?

On topic:
I doubt all of you really need an account, you just want it. The best would be to make a thread/section on this forum, modurated by someone who has wiki accces, where people can add suggestions and report mistakes.

No offense, but what do you know?
Maybe you judge us looking at your personality, sincerely, if I'd had an account the first thing which I'd do is change array sizes, most of them have 256 cells. I think these examples aren't really good, because new people will use always 256 (maybe). And secondly, I'd add more descriptive examples for each function/callback.

Best regards!

Open registration for people registered here. Me and some others could check the wiki registrations if thats the problem. Ban in the wiki = ban in the forum to prevent kiddings.

Firstly, I can't find ANY pages that use [256] for strings, unless they are needed.

Secondly, the examples are meant to be kept SIMPLE. They are only there to give a visual example of how the function would be used - not a 500 line gamemode that uses the function, or one with a wall of text. It would make the wiki confusing.

If you notice anything that needs changing either PM someone with an account (me if you like) or ask someone on IRC.

All of it, is terribly scripted.

@ Mauzen, agreed! Someone should, like, control the registrations

Agree, there's a lot of retarted bullshit on the wiki like strtok while there are faster alternatives.
No wonder all newbies are using it. On this way we never get a good, big new generation of scripters.
