ServerFFS is closing?
#1

Hi, I have a small test server to try my scripts hosted in ServerFFS, and today I have received an email telling me that they aren't accepting any more renewals, and that all services will expire on 31st of August.
Does anyone else have any news about this?

Looks like they are then. I would consider moving your server to a new host then.

Wish you all the best of luck.

No! They can't close it, it will be fraud with other serverffs users?

It's not like they just randomly shut down and didn't tell anyone. They have given all of us customers over a month's notice. If a shop that you regularly visited in real life suddenly closed down, would you say that they are committing "fraud" with their customers? No, you wouldn't, so please use your brain before you post.

In all fairness, ServerFFS has been gone for a long time, they wasn't providing support to their customers. It's now official that they've gone.

So... What hosting would you choose? I chose FFS not for any particular reason, but just because it's the only one I know, and as mine was just a test server with only 10 player slots, that was costing me only 2.5Ђ per month and that I kept most of the time hibernated, then I just didn't bother with searching for other hostings.

Actually - They were the Best , Even tho they didn't provide customers with support.. They had the Best Control Panel and their servers had no lag at all...

Erm... Dont mind me from saying this, if you say SA-MP is dying, then why do you bother browsing SAMP Forums? If your one of the members getting bored of from SA-MP, then you might aswell leave..

Thats right, and they did provide fast support when they worked that company 100%.

They started a new company (actually a few years back) with only dedicated servers and my company is renting dediboxes there now as its simply the best dedi service we have ever come across. I will not meantion the name here as it might be read as advertisement and thats not the reason for this post.

Anyways these people are dedicated with their work and we are VERY happy customers with them for more than a year now. I guess they simply found a better business model on the dedicated server market.

They offered good services, but too expensive. It's good that they are refunding.
