Hey guys I left SA-MP over a year ago and I recently re-installed GTA back on my machine. Last time I played there was around ~5000-7000 max players online and I just had a look and I see its over 40,000 which is just insane.
I used to script a little, wasn't too great but I'm thinking of getting back into it since I've had a few ideas.
Anyway, one question I want to ask is why do some servers have 1000 player slots? Was the limit increased or it is some sort of hack/mod/ect?

Server owners can request a 1000 slot server.
