Hello.

Since we can use the CUSTOM.IMG files to add modifications to our server, a MODIFICATIONS forum is needed.
To show, release, share, comments etc. mods.

Please, adding this forum will help "us" a lot. We will be able to help eachother, show people what they can do with the CUSTOM.img files etc.
People could find released custom.img, just like they find released filterscripts.
If someone has a problem with his mod development, he will be able to get support from other modders.

If you need moderators for this forum, I would like to be one of them, I guess I have the needed knowledge.
I will release a few custom.img for basic deathmatch servers, stunt servers etc. very soon (gonna post suggestions thread first).

I think Kalcor won't be ok to do that because this forum is dedicated to sa:mp.

But anyway, the sa:mp custom file section may be accepted because it's related to sa:mp.

Then it will be a simple place to share ONLY txd and dff files for custom.img.

Well all those things except the sounds can be added to SA:MP.

Well it does.
Have a look.

To add this Mac Book Pro to the game, I used my custom.img file.



To add this dead body model and hold it, I used my custom.img file.





To add this MacDonald mod I could use my custom.img file.



To add this piano to my server I used my custom.img file.



To add this mask mod to SA:MP I could use my custom.img file.



To add this V for Vendetta / Anonymous mask to SA:MP I could use my custom.img file.

What about that interior?

Why would this forum be useful if only YOU can see the objects that are in your CUSTOM.img. You would have to make all other players download the file too if they want to see what you see.
The idea itself is not bad, but I personally don't see a great success in it.

If this file was added to SA:MP it is for that reason: all players can see the objects. All they have to do is a copy/paste.

Otherwise all those things were possible with the original .img files of GTA:SA you know.

Example: GamerXServer, they are using this file. The roleplay server where I am playing is too, and to force player using it, I made them a CAPTCHA. To download it fast, they made their own launcher.

This thing is great, you can do whatever you want if you use it well.

It is possible to add graffitis, blood , pictures etc. on the walls/floors too.
