How to do this effect in After effects or Vegas pro


I know how to do it in Photoshop

But i want to do it On a Video\
Like in the Video My Body Has outer Glow like this?

Uhm... there is couple of ways to do that...
for example in new CS5 you can use new robobrush and somehow cut your character out,and make your character to two layer and make back layer glow...
but cutting the character is pretty hard to do,robobrush fails manytimes... so I may suggest you to cut your character frame by frame... yea sounds hard.

but best way to do it is at green screen... tell your buddy to fake kick a ball at green screen,but still very complicated work should be done,alot of tricks so yeah... I'd suggest to cut it as frame by frame if video is not too long...
