Server cost..
#1

Hello, I am looking to create one roleplay server(not yet decided), I am currently looking for anyone who can make one great gamemode for me in return of some small cash. I'll also ask for some company who can host that server, I need .com domain as well. Server should show on Hosted tab as well.

Can you tell me how much it will cost?

PM me if you're interested in making gamemode, i am gonna pay.. No need of mapper, admins, helpers or anything. Just one guy who can make great gamemode.

Volt-Host is rather cheap with discount codes, supports MySQL, and I've heard it's pretty good. I use justhost.com for my webhost, there okay. Good idea, that you want to pay for a scripter because it's 1 - 20000 chance you'll find a free scripter.

I can find the scripter for free as well but they will just edit another game mode and show it to me.. I need someone professional, Send me PM.. I will look through his post and everything then I will decide.

Can you tell me easy price? like How much scripter will take? .com domain? Hosting? wb hosting etc?

Server - around 10-25$
Website - 15$
Script - 100$ or above (for a professional one)
Hosted Tab - Currently closed, but if you find anyone who sells you will probably have to pay around 15-20$

IF your looking for something around your budget, i would suggest looking on the hosting list that in server support thread.

Lots of cheap and reliable providers are listed there.

Well with your your asking.

I could get you a OnApp cloud VPS, just tell me the specs you would require, it would be linux, centos 5.

As for your webhosting, I can also install cpanel for an extra 10 dollars.

im starting my own hosting company at this time. We have a rack in toronto, and new york(we actually own the rack and the servers) not mixed with other clients using the data centre.

If your interested let me know.

Considering his current budget of $100, and the cost of a decent scripter being around that.. I personally think he'd be better of with a 'more developed' hosting company that offer slots and website hosting at a slightly cheaper cost (Volt, etc..).

9.99 is the starting cost of our OnApp cloud network, 10 dollars is a one time fee.
RAM: 376 MB
Disk Space: 10 GB
cPanel/WHM?: Extra $10
Managed?: No
Monthly: 9.99

All he'd need is an extra 9.99 for a .com TLD, or he could use a sub-domain with a forwarder. Thats ulimited slots(in a sence) for him.

But I do see your point with his 100 dollar start up money.

Exactly, he's looking at around $30 to get started with a server and domain and a further $20 a month there after, not including setup of extra security and DDoS protection etc.. It would work out a lot easier and cheaper to go with an existing company. Not trying to knock your boat here, just the facts.

Im quite aware I'm not exactly cost effective, just giving him an option.
