[BUG]Player slots not released correctly?
#1

Hi,

im running my server on SAMP 0.3c and ive noticed a bug a few weeks ago.
The longer the server is not restarted the more available player slots (that actually are emtpy) cant be used.
Also if the certain player slots are not used the server will show "Server is full" also if there are still empty slots!

Did someone else notice that kind of bug?
Has it been fixed in SAMP 0.3d/e?

Ive also heard this might be the consequence of a bot attack?
Possible?

Any solutions?

I would be happy about some answers
thx and kind regards, wolf.

PS: Please answer only if you have smth. constructive to say. I just dont want to start a discussion why im still on 0.3c cause thats just not what im asking for.

It is very likely to be an attack bots masquerading as players.

I suggest you to upgrade your server.

I know i cant expect support for older versions but i had to ask first as i didnt know if its a bug or more likely an attack.

Thx for your answer!

Im just curious: Can you be more specific about how the "false use" of the certain slots is made possible?

//edit:
@Viniborn:So its not a bug but an attack?

Exactly. There are videos teaching how to make such an attack, obviously I will not publish them because i think it's wrong to do this sort of thing.

But how ****** already said, this was fixed in 0.3d R2 ...

So upgrading would not fix my problem?
Or had this security hole been closed in the 0.3d version?

While I used version 0.3C, my server was suffering such attacks constantly.

After version 0.3d, this problem dissapeared.

Seems like the only solution would be to upgrade.
