I have been playing SA-MP for around 4-5 years, I have been playing on my current system for about 2 1/2 years. I am experiencing some FPS issues. When I am just driving alone everything runs smoothly. When I come in contact with other players or shooting, etc, etc, it lags like crazy, literally it's choppy. It even makes my music playing chop up. I have no idea how to fix it... I've tried everything. I know it is not my computer specs, because I play games like ARMA 2 and GTA 4, etc. It seems like a graphics card driver issue, but I tried updating. Any help?

Try reducing your graphic settings. I'm sure you know how to do that, if you already haven't done so.
On the other note, try cleaning up your computer with a tool. I personally enjoy Advanced System Care, and Tuneup Utilities. They're both great, and efficient at what they do.
Also, do you have any mods installed? Those may be causing some problems.

Thanks for the response, no mods. I don't think it's the graphics though... I have a Nvidia GT 240 with 4 gigs of ram. I will try cleaning up my computer tho... But it doesn't do this with any other game.

Hm... You could try re-installing GTA, and Sa-mp, and start off fresh. But I don't really see how it would help.

Reinstall everything or it's a server issue.

Like I said, it only does this on gta. Other games are fine, and web browsing.
