Port forwarding
#1

I can imagine this question has been asked countless times and I apologise for that. I am trying to forward my port but I can't seem to do so with my router management.

my internet service provider is SkyBB. I can't seem to find any tab which states 'virtual hoster' or anything along those lines so I am genuinely stuck on what to do

anyone with SkyBB or a lot of experience on this - can you please help me?

I am NOT making any community or anything, I am merely wanting to add a local server to my list so test out something but I need to forward my port first.

Hello,
you can add local server by typing "localhost" into the "add server"...
Is that what you mean? correct me if i'm wrong.
Thank You!

What I mean is, I'm trying to test something so I'm trying to make a local server just for myself to do testing. however my ports have not been forwarded therefore nothing happens when I try to do my local IP etc.

I tried to add localhost to the "add server" but nothing happens

any help is appreciated

Hello,
First of all start sa-mp.exe
then type "localhost:(The port you inputted in server.cfg)" In "Add Server".
And thats it.
Thank You.

He's trying to portforward, NOT trying to connect to he's own server.

@OP:

Could you upload a picture of your router's main page?

I personally do not find that website particularly helpful as I do not know where to navigate to ...
