Adding new lines to files,
#1

Hi there, I have a question.

I have my .ini user files,
This is done ofcourse with enum's

I used dini to save the data,
My question now is,
If I add a new line to the enum, and I want to write it to the file, Will it create the new file? or must I delete the user file first?

thanks

You should delete the file and after register again the line will be created.

There is no way to avoid that?
I don't feel like deleting user files after every update...

I think I get what you're meaning, and if you for example want to make a new line to your enum, in the player ini's, there's no need to delete them, just add it and you're done. Remember to add it to every necessary places, though .

Dini? Mate, forget it. How to say ****** it not efficiently because it is too slow and impractical. Best reason is DOF2 or Y_INI. Try to use that.

I know, but Im already that far in my gamemode that it would take a lot of time to learn and change everything in it to Y_ini or something,

I will consider it. but I aint sure

I learnt y_ini and I converted all the dini part from the Gamemode I am making to y_ini. I finished it in less than a week! Dini is very slow compared to y_ini.
