I'm not intentionally trying to badmouth your service as it generally is a great service, but get the fucking problems sorted before you add more servers, PLEASE.

Actually, it's very difficult to provide DDoS protection without spending a bunch of money on hardware that doesn't really help all that much! We have been getting hit more often than usual recently, most of the time we can fight it off- however recently we have been getting hit with huge attacks and frankly, nobody can really prevent them! At least that's my understanding...

EDIT: Oh and another thing, we have our servers in some of the best data-centers around the world. That should tell you something.

I understand that, but I don't want to pay for something I'm not receiving, I know Linx credited a week of free service due to it but tomorrow will be 8 days since my server has been offline and I'm not a happy chap and neither is my community.


I've already had to postpone my servers BETA launch because of these problems and I'm probably going to have to postpone it again because I can't develop anything if I can't connect.

Why don't you find somewhere else to host then?
Obviously Volt get's hit with DDoS everyday, I wouldn't waste my time with them even if they are great people. I've noticed multiple servers down for long periods of time due to DDoS attacks on volt...

Are you serious? There was two days of downtime on a single node in France, we have 7 of them. I'll look into your request asap.

By two days I'm referring to on-off periods naturally exhibited by an attack, the server was only completely out for around 24 hours (which is what we compensated 7 days for).

We don't get hit daily with DDoS attacks, we get on average 1 attack a month and they usually last between 6 to 18 hours at the most (and most of the time its a very isolated attack, only 5-10 clients actually get affected by downtime). This one was the longest one by far since it targeted a few servers hosted on the node, which we are in the process of moving to an isolated node.
