I try and connect to a server then choose a resolution and i tried several I even tried the resolution to my pc but It crashes every time and I get this error.

1. Do you have mods installed? If yes, re-install GTA: SA and don't use mods.
2. Reinstall SA-MP.
3. Your resolution/graphic settings might be set wrong.
4. If your game is d/l'ed, try another crack.
5. Do you mean changing resolution while ingame? It always crashes me, if you want to change your resolution go on Single Player, change it, and then go back on Multiplayer.

Hey,

I realize this thread may be very old but I've just experienced the same problem and it fixed after I had fixed my audio. For some reason(I didn't realize) my audio was messed up and I wouldn't have any audio at all. After fixing that it all started up fine. I thought this info might be useful for when someone searches on ****** as that's how I got here.
