Hi my name is Nick i would like to ask for some help. I have been playing samp for 2 years now without any problems. Till about 1/2 week(s) ago when i noticed my ping just jumped, i normally get a ping around the 30/40 but suddenly i saw it was 400+. I thought it would go away but it dident and it was the same server i always play in. So i turned on my own home host to check what its there but even on my home host (where you should get like 12 ping) i got a result of 433 and even 843. I would like some help to fix this problem cause this is really ruining the game for me and i can play with it cause i get either kicked out by a anti high ping fs, or its to laggy to play.

Now before you go all like close internet,msn,utorrent etc. I know that and i tryd it without succes.

Try using Game Booster,

if the problem continues then try running a Disk Cleanup. Sometimes the lag/ping may increase because of a increase in Internet use like.. PS3's, Xbox's, etc .. Try searching up on ******* as well I've seen some helpful solutions on ******* based on GTA: SA issues ; or maybe the issue might just be too many mods?

Does it only happen to you on server or other people experience the same problem?

I dont know if you mean if i am the only one with the problem or that you mean if it happens in every server. If you mean if it happens in every server then yes, dont know about the other one though.

I even get a 433 ping on my own home host, i mean that is like impossible.

Make sure there aren't many programs open that use the internet (Have you installed anything recently that might have caused this problem?

Remember that ping isn't only network, and can be increased by the fact that the game isn't running at full capacity.

take a look at your task manager. And see how much CPU programs use.

i am using around 14% cpu without starting samp. And the only programs i have on are msn,antivirus and windows sidebar

Make sure u don't have a small virus that sucks ur Internet
I had it 3 days ago from normal 70ping it went to 210/240 ping
So the. I went in task manager looked up the network usages of the services and saw that ther was an unknown process to me called [name_PC_DATA] the NAME was my pc username btw.
And as soon i killed the task it all came back to normal and obviously I located its path and deleted it and. Blocked it for future

Ping localhost in command prompt, if you get more than 2ms then it's not a SA-MP problem.
