Forum reputation bug
#1

Hi,

In the past days, i noticed a really weird bug on my reputation-count.
A few days ago, i had 33 reputation points. But then someone repped me for a post.
Suddenly my reputation count rised to 37 instead of 34. The 'ghost reputations' didn't gave me any
noticifations in Last Reputation Received.

This seems like a bug to me. Do someone haves a similair experience with 'ghost reputations'?

Greetz,
Danny

But it shouldn't be normal to gain reputation out of nothing, right?

somewhere i got told that the green "blob" in the reputations are the "advanced" users with like >50 posts, and the grey blob being users with less. i assumed that its an indicator of the player who gave you rep being online, but i was wrong there.
the rep count raises depending on the players rank aswell. you got +4 rep? then i bet that a "High Roller" reped you - if i rep some1, he gets +3 ^^
edit: just to clear it up: your rep is 37 atm. now ima rep you for starting that topic, which WILL tell me a lesson for sure. so: thx hehe
edit 2: WTF i was wrong again. prior rep(-Danny-)== 37
now its 41? good to know. 4 stars=4 rep. hm.. this will be tricky to solve ^^

Sometimes, the same user +reps more than once, so you must be doing something right to be getting reputation. I don't think its bugged. :P

Gray "blobs" won't give you any reputation (Meaning someone with 50- posts gave you reputation), but green ones give you x rep, depending on the person who gave you it (+1 reputation per y posts (Known rates aren't public?).
