Hi there guys. Just for your info, I NEVER used Linux before

Anyway, I tried to install my server on a linux server. The first problem is that I'm at root directory and can't move to home directory. Anyway, I made /home/user/ inside root, so the path is /home/user/samp03/

I installed everything, typed nohup ./sampsvr & , but that [1] 9244 doesn't appear (as shown in the tutorial)

Anyway, I went to check the server, but it stays on retrieving information.

Tried other 2 methods, but didn't work too.

What's wrong?

My server.cfg file was not configured correctly.

But what's nocd?

I tried to enter it as a command but it wasn't recognized
