Stance Nation

Surroundings:
After being on the SA:MP scene for many years, I've looked around and been part of many roleplay communities. All were based on shadowing lives of people. Such as medics, cops, gangs, or just plain civilians. Even now, most roleplay communities that spring up, use this idea as their base.


Background:
I'm a big car guy. Imports, American Muscle, even bikes, I love them all. If any of you are atleast slightly into cars and tuning them, you know there are communities everywhere. I'm part of 8thcivic with my 11' Civic. My cousin is part of newcelica with his 04' Celica. I'm positive many people(18+) on here are also part of other car communities.


The Idea:
Instead of roleplaying the usual mafia, the usual civilians, and the usual cops, why not put a spin on the basic roleplay idea? Here is where I have placed my idea. Roleplaying that incorporates different vehicles and vehicle types with the events of stunting and racing. Hopefully you understand where I am taking this. Every member would have his or her own car, would be able to participate in shows, tunes, races, and events of the like that are organized by ether the server community or by the admins themselves. Illegal races? Go for it! Just be on the lookout of the police!


Rollout:
This project is brand new and I am just gathering opinions on this idea to see if we can get any steam behind it. If there are enough people that like the idea, then from there on out, a script, forums, and server would all be started.

Thanks for the input. There would be a gameplan before any coding would be done so it would be done in atleast a somewhat decent manner.

I once considered making a vehicle based rpg. Consider jobs that are solely vehicle jobs like getaway driver, garbage collector, taxi driver, but instead of picking up players, you'd escort NPCs

Did you get around to making it or starting on it?

This idea is sort of like that, but more focused on events, vehicles, and their owners.

I didn't, but it has been an idea I offer to people who want to start something new. People don't seem to want to try it. Also, all of my work from SA-MP has been lost to reformatting.

They don't want to try it because most of the people who want to start something new are usually doing it to have power in their hands.
