[PHP] URL from MYSQL?
#1

Hello,

I'm in the middle of developing a full system for my hosting company, however I've come across a small problem. I did plan ahead but, I guess that nothing ever goes to plan!

The problem I'm having is as follows below, I'm not going to say I understand the whole world of programming because quiet frankly, I don't...I know what I know and tend to learn as I go.

The problem I'm having is, I have a MySQL Database and a page for a Support Ticket system, at the moment I've sorted the main parts but on the main page I'm wanting it to allow a user select a ticket that belongs to them from their page. EG.

Ticket 1
Ticket 2 and so on.

How I'm wanting to achieve this is from in the URL at the moment it goes to..http://myurl.tld/portal/help.php?pid=tickets.... I'm wanting it to add onto it something like http://myurl.tld/portal/help.php?pid...id123....where 123 is the ticket id they have.

Would anybody please be able to help me with this? I'll freely add your details to the publicly viewable credits.

Thank you.
Ashley.
