Windows XP SAMP 0.3c Installation, Windows system plugin: d3dx9_25?
#1

Hi, I have sa-mp 0.3c on my laptop PC with Windows 7. A day with a connection cable I connected to one of my other PCs( using windows Vista), and I copied Rockstar Games, GTA San Andreas User Files and the server package to it, and it worked fine.

Today I tried to copy it to another PC, using windows XP, but when I open it, it opens an error dialog: "Can't find C:\Windows\System32\d3dx9_25", so I tried to install sa-mp from the website, and when I open the setup it stops at the middle and says "Can't write on C:\Windows\System32\d3dx9_25", with 2 dialog buttons: "Abort" and "Ignore"...

Reinstall DirectX 9.0 or above.
OR
Download the DLL file and copy it over into the GTA SA folder. (And register it with regsvr32 if it still doesnt work - ask me how to do that if needed)

If what the above poster says doesn't work, just reinstall the SA-MP client.

Uninstall "Sa-Mp dedicated cheat engines"

I don't use any sa-mp cheat/mods...
I've got only Cheat Engine 5.1, that doesn't work with GTA:SA, I use it only to cheat with Spider, FreeCell or Chess Titans.....

Hi sasino,

This type of problem usually occurs when setup d3dx9_25.dll is missing from your computer. This dll file can be downloaded from here.
http://www.d3dx9.net/download-missing-d3dx9_25-dll/
Download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the Windows System32 folder, which is located in Windows Drive.
