It's case to say that once again, the efforts and sweat spent on SA-MP were recognized. This time by one of the biggest (if not the biggest) multigaming corporation, Electronic Sports League (ESL). http://www.esl.eu/eu
After many votes from the SA-MP Deathmatch community, SA-MP is finally going to have what Deathmatchers dreamed since a long time:

- A professional anticheat.
- Official Leagues & Ladders.
- Official Cups & Tournaments.

For now, SA-MP is on a test phase, to get familiar with the EWAC (ESL Wire Anti-Cheat) in which players can test it by simply playing at any SA-MP server, starting the game from ESL Wire client.
If the tests go well, shall the serious business start


Congratulations to all the responsible members of the SA-MP Development and congratulations to the active community that made this event possible. Having over 20.000 daily players playing a multiplayer mod for a game that is almost 6 years old is really a deed.

No xD those specs are wrong. My PC specs are lower than those i'm actually running an Intel Core Duo 2.1Ghz and I can run both the game and ESL Wire together without any lag, and even have Xfire, Skype, Firefox, etc running.
Those specs are more applied for the new generation games like CoD Black Ops to run together with ESL Wire.
