ok i getting angry that the lan isnt working at all because i cant see it on the server browser and the instutions on the sa-mp.com page dont help could sombody plz tell me step by step on how to do it plzzzz. thanx

Once you have the Server downloaded and extracted it, just double samp-server.exe

Once you have done that, if you add 127.0.0.1:7777 to your favorites in the sa-mp server browser, you should see your server.

If you want to edit Gamemode and hostname etc, go into your server.cfg file.

plus now im trying to run the server tho samp-server program it says that this port is allready in use

change the port from 7777 to 7778 or something.

nope that hasent worked i cant see on the favorets when i add a new server and type in my IP with :7778 on the end of it. in the server browser it just stays on (retrieving info...)my IP:7778 player:0/0 ping:0 mode:blank map: blank

hi all I am from Bulgaria and know little english.I`ve big problem with my LAN server.i create LAN server in server.cfg file:

...I start it from samp-server.exe .OK good but in SA:MP i see this :"retrieving info.."..ok.
I add this server to favourites and now I see:
"hostname:127.0.0.1
players:0/8
ping:~2 ...~5..... etc.
mode:Venturasd........"
I want to connect with double-click on it , then set rcon password : 123
and the game running,but i CANT CONECT TO THIS SERVER, because "THE SERVER DIDN`T RESPOND.RETRYING...."
My question is How to connect ? please help me

i just uses add server and i put in :7777 it works for me maby u should try it or you can add local host:PORT
