Ok i was asking in sa-mp's irc channel about whats a good, simple, and efficiant way to learn PAWN scripting.
I saw lots of ways on how to learn.
They all helped me and i am working on my first GOOD FS. So heres what i want you to do.
I want the people on the sa-mp forums to reply to this topic on how you learned PAWN and how you think begginers should start to learn PAWN.
I also want the newbie PAWN scripters to quote the way they liked the most.
Also you can join #pawnschool(lead by Pghpunkid) and hopefully learn the PAWN language! So dont forget to post your unique ways of learning in here.

The way i started way back when life was only in Black and White (har har har), i learned by downloading the server package to my computer, and tinkering with lvdm.pwn. Its a basic mode, but you can learn a lot between code snippets on here and the existing gamemode.

If anyone wants a little push, you can join me and hopefully a few others on irc.focogaming.com @ #pawnschool. More than happy to educate those who dont know much about coding.

I will join when im free. I started by playign around with other gamemodes. And trying to figure out errors on my own. (well im still learning) I started my own gamemode from scratch so that way I could learn even more.

looking at other peoples scripts and then finding out why they did it that way and not another way, pawn wasn't my first scripting language

At first, I tried editing the LVDM.pwn (0.2.2 version), I changed the messages, went in-game, and saw that nothing changed! That times, I didn't know, I should hit compile.
Then I found the wiki, read the tutorials, and now I'm still scripting.

If you do not have mIRC:

1. Goto www.mibbit.com/chat
2. Click "server" after the popup loads
3. Enter "irc.focogaming.com" in the server text box
4. Enter "Miado_Hulk" in the nick text box
5. Enter "#pawnschool" in the channel text box
6. Click "Go"
