haven't posted on this forum for years but i thought this would be a great opportunity to come back and say this:
got up this morning (i live in Brisbane) and was expecting England to give us a good flogging and be 6/600 by stumps today and do the same job that they did in the rugby two weeks back (seriously did anyone watch that? i've never seen england run the ball so much! Very entertaining.) Heard through school that england were 1/0 which was good, then halfway through the day realized i got my hopes up as they were 2/150... got home and started having arvo tea and switched it on at 4pm to find them 4/180 or so, watched peter siddle grab a wicket for five for, then the very next ball he got another clean bowled... and then HAT TRICK to put england 7/195! Think that's one of the only ashes hat tricks ever! Whatever it was it was magical.
