I still can't port-forward. Is this the fault of my router?
#1

Hi everyone,

I've tried every tutorial for port-forwarding (via Port Forward website and also I've tried it manually by 192.168.2.1)

Also, If you need my router's information, I'll PM you if you can help so it could work.

Thank you. Any help would be thankful.

First off, make sure you are port forwarding the right port. Secondly, make sure its open on the host computer. and Thirdly, make sure your destination IP is your computers local ip (usually 192.168.1.x) - x being an identifier.

Windows firewall and most anti virus block incoming connections. Add the ports to these programs as well.

Also use the DMZ function in your router. Use your local IP for this.

Demiliterized zone? Are you talking about this?:

I have tried everything:
NAT
> Virtual server - Tried and still not working.
> Port Mapping - Tried and still not working.
> DMZ - This works for me but it makes me lag when I tried this and turned off the firewall.
