Problem with setting creating my SQL database
#1

I've been trying to follow some tuts around the site about creating an SQL database (For the perfections, it's seriously 'AN', not 'a') but I can't seem to connect to http://localhost/phpmyadmin. Anyone has got an idea? Here's a screeny:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try replacing localhost with 127.0.0.1, it's possible your host file was modified.

http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin

Have you made sure that wampserver is fully activated? In the icon it shows that not everything has been started. Make sure all services are started by clicking 'Start All Services' in the wampmanager menu.

Disabled Windows Firewall (Why did windows turn it on?)

Using ****** Chrome on Windows 7 Ultimate x64, I'll try some different browsers though.

Did you try doing what I said? The icon is half full, which means some service hasn't been activated, most likely apache. You need apache enabled to use phpmyadmin. This is most likely not a firewall, OS or browser issue, the webserver simply isn't running. So go click on the icon, apache, and start it.
