I know IRC is a big thing in the SA:MP community, but I am confused about how to set it up and what I need. I noticed that ServerFFS provides an IRC Bouncer, do I need one? What do I need to have an IRC server, is it free? Please provide some more details for me, thanks!

Hm, so I take it that you would be against the idea of setting up a public IRC server?

Its useless to set up a public IRC server because likely chance you'll have "users" there is very low because most "SA-MP" people will wanna be on the SA-MP IRC so just make a channel there.
For Bouncer, Its only a thing that keeps you connected to the IRC Server even if offline etc its like your own bot.
