What kind of a VPS can handle 500 players?

Can anyone write down the specs, depending on ServerFFS offers.

example:

Processing speed
Memory and Diskspace
Bandwidth and IPs

On server FFS, just order from GameServers, specs are already done.

Well, i thought it would be cheaper if i would go with a VPS.

I dont think you'll be able to get a VPS that can handle 500 players, they're usually massively oversold (30-40 VPSes per box)

If your serious about 500 players either go for a gsp or get a dedicated server (AMD (2.4ghz+) servers are cheap and can handle ~200 players if needed)

Depends on your script etc. If you are using a RolePlay script it would be different to using a freeroam script.
