Hello,

http://www.alternate.be/html/product...ooks&l2=Gaming

How well do you guys think this would run SA-MP / GTA IV / MW2 / Cod4?
(Click on 'Uitgebreide specificaties' for the specs list)

GFX card seems fine, but how about the processor?

Alienware = Dell + $2000

Anything with an i7 above 2ghz, a non-integrated card like a Radeon HD (as Richi said) and a few gigs of ram should be fine for any modern games. You could go for an i5 aswell, but since Core2 has been phased out, theres no point in getting an i5, i7 is the new Core2, and you can get a laptop with a decent one for around $800 these days

Stay away from Vaio's; they're designed for business, not gaming. Go for a Dell or an Acer.

Laptops really aren't made for gaming.. This will run SAMP (Gta SA) and cod4 and gta iv on medium. But for almowst same price you get : http://www.alienware.com/landings/laptops.aspx , Just buy alienware.. I never was dissapointed with them.
You do know when you buy Alienware you're paying extra for shit? You can get an even better PC for the same price as whatever Alienware bollocks you've bought. It's like Apple and designer clothes, you're paying for a name.

Alienware is extremely over priced, and as iLinx said, it's Dell.

If you weren't getting a laptop, i'd say custom build your computer, but for a good laptop, i'd suggest an acer laptop.
