I've been playing SAMP/GTASA for a long time now without any problems, and it ran perfectly.
About three days ago, however, I realized that my CPU usage jumped to 100% and stayed there. I went on SAMP and found horrible lag (jumping between 3-10 FPS), making the game impossible to play. I assumed this was because my CPU was already running at full capacity. Later, I tracked the CPU problem down to the "Audio Service" process. I reinstalled the IDT High Definition Audio codec for Windows 7, and restarted my computer, which fixed the CPU problem. My CPU was now back to normal. However, when I started up SAMP again, the epic lag problem continued. I have rebooted my computer several times after that and the problem still persists.
I cannot play SAMP / GTA like this. Can anyone help me out please?
Thanks in advance,
