So my friend finally persuaded me to play SAMP the other day, and I tried, but my experience so far with it has been pretty bad. Basically, I've been crashing a lot with it. I've managed to narrow it down to I crash whenever a car blows up or a hood pops. Its like this on every server.

I've tried Googling, trying all different kinds of compatibility modes, reinstalling, and changing the game directory, all to no avail.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
RAM: 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz 6-6-6-18
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45-UD3P
Graphics: Radeon HD4870x2

Single player works, video drivers are up-to-date, latest version of SAMP, no mods installed.

Had this problem before, try deleting your gta_sa.set located on San Andreas User Files, sorry for the late reply.
