5) If you are crashing loading SA-MP, please say whether GTA:SA single player works (test it): No loading crash, but the main game works fine
6) Do you have any other GTA:SA mods installed? e.g. new vehicles: no

I generally can't play for more than 5 minutes. I've tried messing with compatibility settings on both SA-MP and GTA:SA, and setting GTA:SA to only run on one core; nothing so far has stopped my crash problems. I'm fairly frustrated at this point, so any help would be much appreciated.

This could be due to car mods on a vehicle being invalid, do you regularly get opcode warnings?

What, while I'm in-game? No. Just these crashes. I have no mods installed. I forgot to mention that I tried two different servers with similar results.

No, no, no, sorry I meant clientside mods like from a transfender shop.

Seems my theory has been invalidated though as you've tried this on other servers. Sorry and good luck resolving your issue .

Just loaded the game, got in a car, flipped it, and right as it exploded, SA-MP crashed.

Well, I think I figured it out. Apparently I had to turn off my second monitor? I just played for a good half hour with just one monitor on. Is this a known bug?

Crap, never mind. I just crashed head first into some dude and subsequently crashed SA-MP. Still looking for a fix.

Explosions seem to trigger crashes every time.

I've heard of this bug before, crashing upon vehicle collision, it was a script bug though if iirc, so your problem is a mystery to me; try running SA:MP as admin / Windows XP compatibility
