How do I create banners with the player stats?

if you're using mysql, with PHP you must connect to mysql server, make it as image (in php also) etc.
if you're using files, with PHP you must connect to ftp server, download the file, read the content from it, make it as image (in php also) etc.

It doesn't matter which plugin you use. It matters on the PHP code you write and how you save user statistics. As i514x_ mentioned, whatever method you use still requires you to create PHP code.
Take a look at the PHP GD manual for more information. Although there is nothing specific listed for retrieving data (at least from what I have seen on the GD manual).
