Ive heard it may be because of mods. Now, I used to have some but i thought i got rid of them. IS there anyway to check? As soon as I step into the red marker, the menu comes up and immediately crashes.

I've bern getting this error because of mods in past.
Reinstall both SA-MP and GTA-SA.

I only crash when I try to mod (in Weel's Arch Angel or Transfender) a modded car (Sabre to Dodge Charger). Anyone knows why this happens?

This is because you got that car as mod , you should know that some mods cause SA-MP crashing.
Just play without mods.
