I have the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Disk Second Edition, I installed the GTA SA (I am running Vista). I went to SA-mp.com, downloaded, and applied the the Downgrader Patch. I then downloaded Sa-mp's latest version 3 client. So by now i have GTA SA the disk installed, the client installed, and the Game downgraded. I go to my San Andreas directory and right click GTA.exe and click properties, i choose Windows XP as compatibility, and it still wont come up, I used Windows me as compatibility, and it also fails. i have the legit disk i purchased from Best Buy, and it still wont work anyone know how or why it wont work? and im still searching the forums for anything that can help but if you can give me a topic link you think would help it would be appreciated, and as well as anything you say here that can help me.

Try to delete ''gta_sa.set'' in the folder ''GTA San Andreas User Files'' located in your documents.

I dont have that in My Documents, the game never booted up for me to establish my control settings to create the Gta_Sa.Set(settings) file

oh crap, i spended 3 days untill i got this fixed, re-install the game, and re-start your pc after you have installed the Patch and samp.
