[Marcus Garvey]

Some people told me you can buy GTA:SA through steam then install this. Tried doing it and it doesn't work, read on the home page after I bought the game that it's not compatible with steam. Is this completely true or is there some way around this?

I'm pretty sure sa-mp won't work with the steam version of GTA.

Steam is not Version 2.0, it's Version 3.0.

There isn't a legal way of doing it. V2 to V1 is legal afaik, but downgrading V3 is illegal.

Also notice how it states "The Steam and Direct2Drive versions of GTA:SA are not currently supported and cannot be downgraded."
