It can be hard to render in sony vegas with 1gb ram..
However, i also recommend Sony Vegas 9 Pro

1. Not being rude but you need a new processor, i've got the same, it's going to be outdated soon and its better to get a new motherboard and processor, and cheaper, then getting the FX-60 which is the Socket 939 too.
