I got a new laptop for Christmas and it's widescreen. I enabled Widescreen in-game and tried changing my resolution, but its still not showing the game in widescreen... Any idea?

I get widescreen perfectly fine without any add-ons or plugins. Are you sure you're setting the correct resolution?

Also, just a thought, your laptop's aspect ratio might be 16:9 (which is unsupported by default) and not 16:10 (which is supported by default).

I think my aspect ratio is 16:9, but my brother has the same laptop and his widescreen is working perfectly. I've tried completely uninstalling the game and SA-MP and doing a fresh install, but still not having any luck getting the widescreen to work. Hope there are some more ideas on what the problem might be and thanks for the replies.
