Pawn Studio
#1

Hi All,

I have one question, i was searching for a good pawn editor. And i found Pawn Studio, i like it very much.
It has even a 'Real' code completion ex. Custom created functions in script.
It has a template for SA:MP etc.

But why is this editor not in the Editors list on the wiki?
What are the downsides of this script editor?
If someone is using this program please tell.

EDIT: Here's the link to the sourceforge page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pawnstudio

The registrations on wiki are open, put it there. But you'll need to use the compiler from sa-mp.com to compile your scripts

I don't agree with some downsides

Downsides

* Very bright syntax highlighting (Unreadable for some people) - you can change the syntax - View -> Change Highlighter
* You can't hide the ToolPanels - you can remove them under View

First 1: You can change it, but it stays bright, with all three Pawn highlighters
Second: Yes you can remove them, but not hide them. Like in Visual Studio

You need to specify the compiler (So you need pawno)

It's a feature, not a bug. The compiler that SA-MP uses is different to the stock compiler.

That's the downside, to compile scripts for SA-MP you need to specify the SA-MP Compiler Executable

That's just as hard as downloading PAWNO.
