Hey

I placed this streamer as filterscript on my server. It works perfectly but all the commands (OnPlayerCommandText) in the primary gamemode does not work when in-game. :S

But when I move the commands in to filterscript, they work perfectly.

What would be the problem?

Nice work.
I'll use this object streamer
And I edit
some code for effecient
some new -> static
GetPlayerPos -> GetPlayerCameraPos
comment #pragma dynamic 30000

Hi,

Could you please try v0.8 again, but now with exactly the same settings as v0.7?

I think the problem is that I changed Objects to stream to 800 now, when it used to be 380.
so at least change back that setting in v0.8 an tell me if that works.

24-12-'11 v0.9 released
- Bug fixed which made the streamer work really slow.
- Streamer runs even faster now!
- Added InstantUpdate parameter to F_CreateObject and F_CreatePlayerObject.
- Added new setting for the configuration: DistanceBeforeUpdate. //the distance a player must travel before objects get updated. (also matters a lot for CPU usage)

It's nice to hear that people like my work!

Oh, and I have no idea why it happens, but I also noticed that when I teleport, my streamer objects show faster than the original objects >< epic.




Also, for other people:
Please report any bugs you find, or things that can be improved, instead of just thinking "this doesn't seem to work for me, I'll just take another streamer"
It's always nice to get some suggestions for new stuff or knowing when something's not working like it should

Maybe got any way to create an attached object to a vehicle?
Btw about attaching to a player, you need attachobjecttoplayer, its disabled in 0.3d right?

I need AttachPlayerObjectToVehicle for that but it doesn't exist in 0.3d
AttachObjectToVehicle however does exist.

I also think it's sad because it would be really awese!

But AttachPlayerObjectToPlayer isnt working anymore and therefor your attachobjecttoplayer wont work anymore, right?

I didn't know it's not working anymore because pawno still thinks it exists.
If it's removed, my function indeed doesn't work anymore :/

In my GameMode, the I try to create 1 object but it creates 5 instead of 1, can you tell me why this is happening?

20-09-'12 v1.2 released
- Improved streaming with SetPlayerPos.
- Added InstantUpdate parameter to SetPlayerPos.
- Stuff updated with moveobject parameters.
- Minor updates at F_CreateObject and F_PlayerObjectUpdate.
- Bug fixed with playerobjects still being created after the player left.
- Updated distance sorting code for faster update times.
- Added debug mode (shows ingame information about objects being created/destroyed).
- Made streamer run even faster!
- Added function AttachObjectToVehicle.
- Fixed attached objects not re-appearing after the object was out of range.
