It's the first time i've used dedicated servers.
My ping is 200 on my dedicated server and so is everyone's else, i'm using kingj game server hosting (Recommended by sa-mp)
And what i'm receiving is absolutely stupid.

Is there anyway i can lower it?
My ping is usually 45 or 60- But my server is lagging alot.

Could it be how i setup the server? and if it is, is there a way i can make it better?

The server is most likely hosted in another country. Probably on the other side of the world.

It says there located in the united kingdom.
You can see there site by viewing the sa-mp recommended hosters.

Kingj.net i think there called.

The reason you have a 200 ping is most likely because you live quite the distance away from the UK. The only way to fix this really is to get a server closer to home

If you are laggy in your server and it doesn't happend on other servers, then it's your server hoster problem.
Your hoster may run out enough resurces, But it can be because of your script too.
Anyway the ping 200 not much as you think, and if you have really problem with it try serverFFS or another script on same host.

The only way do decrase your ping is choose a server in your country or beside of it(about 2 hours GMT difference should have good ping).
And if you are downloading/uploading while playing, stop them.
