Crashing - Please help
#1

Well, after quitting a SAMP game, and trying to rejoin, SAMP is always crashing on me. I've reinstalled GTASA and SAMP multiple times, restarted, etc, different downgr.ders, and yes I bought the DVD, have 2.0. I start to load, then it shows the SAMP logo on the black full screen, and it crashes after that, loading two error boxes.

When you quit out, go Alt-Ctrl-Del and bring up task manager, and look for gta_sa.exe (Still running) when you have quit...

This could be your issue... Sometimes I've heard of SA staying running in the background after you have quit.

Nope, it's never running when I try to connect on task manager.

I just noticed that while the SAMP logo loads, if I tab out, the crash notification box still comes up (the one with the code), but I can still tab back in and play, even with the crash thing in the background. The mouse is just messed up. If I click after the tabbing thing, it just tabs back out again and shows the error box.

Edit: Now, if I tab out as soon as the GTASA goes full screen, and tab back in, it lets me play fine. I'll post back if that doesn't always work.

Bump - Here is a video of what happens most times, the first part being when I dont try to tab, the second is when I try to tab - that's not even working most times now. Taken from bad camera, the point isn't to show the error code messages but to get a general idea of the situation / what type of error boxes come up at what time.

Fixed it, whenever xfire was running it caused the problem for some reason.
