OK, so I made a NPC, and put it in my server. It worked just fine. But let's say I record a bot outside Grove Street and want to copy that recording, but start it a few seconds later, so that the copied bot would drive right behind the original one. How should I do this? I would like to create some traffic, without doing lots and lots of new recordings...

Or ask your friends to help you, like you and your friend do /record at the same time and stop it at same time.
