I just ran the w7 upgrade, it told me to restart so i did.
Now i cant get past the first screen, with the disk , without the disk, i cant even get into my fucking boot menu.

Anyone know how to fix this?

fixed it by disconnecting everything except harddrive and cddrive, and using an optical mouse and keyboard (the ones with the round connectors rather to the usb connectors)

that was a pretty major inconvenience

I think everyone that has upgrade has not had this problem, so i think it was your problem.

Also, as said above, Bill Gates don't do much anymore, he's just some lazy slag who earns like Ј4000 per second or something stupid like that.

This wasn't a bios problem, it actually had something to do with the fact that i had a usb keyboard and mouse. Along with that after i took out the vc and put in ps/2 the problem fixed itself. I read up about this, and yeah apparently lots of people have experienced it.
