I'm not sure if this is already posted, as it's happened to me a few times already.
I occasionally witness textures of random objects changing to rainbow like colors (an affect I recall witnessing when using x16 resolutions)

I had this problem some time ago before I bought a better power transformer (600W) with a video card dedicated 24V cable.
My video card: nVidia 9600 GT 512MB

I was quick to omit my video card being at fault cause I hadn't seen or heard of it before 0.3c and I have a GeForce 295gtx. Maybe it was running hot.
