If you mean the "'", it's a specific token which was used in specific posts before we switched to vB. Best guess is that because of the transition to vB some tokens got corrupt.

Yea, that's true. Like Hiddos said, it was caused through the transtition to vB and it's usually where an apostroph was placed in the former posts.
