How to make clickable image ( no not then one that your thinking about )

Hey, I got a website baisclly what I want to make a clickable image
around gta sa map
example:
you press on LS airport and there is gonna be a small menu about it( on the image ), how long it is, how many planes.

How would you do it?
Will it need java/css?
I tryied to search in ****** "click able image" but cant find all of them are html/bb codes. and to transfers to diff websites.
No, I don't want that.
( wtf is wrong with my English, swear to god, I forgot a lot of it , I dont make any sents for some reason. ;o I need to see a doctor :/ ll ))

You could slice the map accordingly to what you want to do, would be the easiest way in my opinion although I haven't really experimented heavily with that sort of thing.

and use CSS to make a drop menu or something like that right?

You could use image mapping, or just slice it up as said, and use css.

Yeah, use photoshop to crop other the separate images, then use html and css to place the images where you want and do what you have to do, if you require further help, send me message on msn, biqqbz@live.com

You could slice the image put it on the website and make tooltips! Using jquery xD when you hover over LS the tooltip appears with all the info you want to show.
